Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you use LaunchGraded's free score tool, paid report, or LaunchDay service, we collect: the landing page URL you submit, the content and technical details our scanner ("LaunchGradedBot" — see /bot) reads from that public page, your email address (if you give it to us, to send results or a sign-in link), and basic usage analytics (pages viewed, how far you get through a scan, and your approximate location — country, region, city and timezone derived from your IP address — and the site that referred you) via PostHog. We store that approximate location and referrer with each scan you run. By default this analytics collection is anonymous and doesn't build a persistent profile of your browser; if you accept the cookie banner, we additionally remember your browser across visits — see §4 below to change your choice.

2. How we use it

We use this information to:

• Generate your launch score, detailed report, or LaunchDay deliverables
• Email you results, order updates, and sign-in links you request
• Process payments for the $39 LaunchFix and the $79 LaunchDay via Stripe
• Understand how LaunchGraded is used, so we can improve it
• Respond to messages you send us through the contact form
• Diagnose and fix errors (via PostHog error tracking — see §3)

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models.

3. Third parties we use

• Stripe — payment processing. We never see or store your card details.
• Resend — sending transactional email (results, sign-in links, order updates, contact form replies).
• PostHog (EU region) — product analytics, anonymous by default and only persistent if you opt in via the cookie banner (see §4), and error tracking, so we notice and fix bugs. An error report can incidentally include the page you were on and technical details of your browser/request, but never your payment details. If you opt in via the cookie banner, we also record how you use the site to improve it. Declining or withdrawing stops this.
• Google Gemini — used only to draft written copy for paid LaunchDay orders, grounded in your own site's content. Not used for the free score, which is fully rule-based.
• Supabase (Postgres) — where your scores, reports, and orders are stored.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences — never for advertising or cross-site tracking. Separately, you can choose whether we remember your browser across visits for analytics purposes, or keep measuring anonymously as we do by default. Change that choice any time below.

5. Data retention

We keep your scores, reports, and orders so you can access them again via a sign-in link (your dashboard). You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see Contact below. The free tools under /tools need no email or account: we keep your IP address and the time of each check for up to an hour to enforce a rate limit, and don't store the URL you check.

6. Public certificates (opt-in only)

LaunchGraded Certification lets a site that scores 90+ with zero launch blockers choose to display a public certificate — the domain, a display name you pick, the score, verdict and date. This is never automatic: a certificate is only created, and only made public, if you explicitly choose to from your dashboard. A public certificate is visible to anyone at its own page and on /certified, and its embeddable badge can be displayed on third-party sites you or others control. You can ask us to take a certificate down at any time — see Contact below; the underlying score/report data is retained per §5 regardless.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by reaching us through the contact form below. If you're unsatisfied with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
