See how your link looks when it's shared.
Paste a page URL. We read its Open Graph and X card tags the way Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Slack do, and check the preview image.
Every rule is fixed and published.
- 01
Required Open Graph tags
og:title, og:description and og:image decide what a pasted link shows. Missing one gives a bare link or a guessed snippet.
- 02
Title and description length
Platforms cut long text. Keep the title near 60 characters and the description under 200.
- 03
Image loads and is supported
The og:image must answer 200 as a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP under 5 MB. SVG is ignored by Facebook, LinkedIn and X.
- 04
Image size and shape
1200 × 630 px (1.91:1) fills a large card. Smaller or squarer images are shrunk or cropped.
- 05
X card type
Without twitter:card set to summary_large_image, X shows a small card even when the image is large.
- 06
Absolute https URL and alt text
Relative or http:// image paths fail on some crawlers. og:image:alt describes the image for screen-reader users.
